:: point-to-point Allmountain/Enduro adventure ::
During the trip we ride from our base camp near Alpe d'Huez,
to Mount Ventoux, aka ‘the cannibal’.
This true point-to-point adventure lets us ride the best allmountain/enduro trails
in a constantly changing region.
We start in the high Alps with its green flowing meadows,
and throughout the journey view the changing environment of the surrounding nature & trails.
Daily shuttle drops allow us to maximize the descents
and limit the amount of climbing required each day.
Our luggage is transported by the van, so we can ride light.
We selected charming accommodation with comfortable rooms,
to ensure you are rested and recharged, ready for the following day.
:: Sunday ::
Arrivals & prologue
We start the day at noon at our base camp, Chalet Auris. Once everyone is unpacked we immediately get dressed for a first bike loop.
After the safety briefing and a bike check, we start off with the initial ride. A couple of shuttled runs on home soil are a perfect way to get into the mood, find your mojo and fine tune your 2-wheeled friend for upcoming week.
:: Monday ::
Alpe d'Huez → Matheysienne
On this day we ride the first legend on the program: Alpe d’Huez.
In the morning the shuttle van drops us as high as possible where we continue our journey by bike. Speeding through Alpine pastures with wide views, sliding alongside mountain rivers and curling on forest single tracks, we search our way to the valley floor.
In the afternoon we leave the Oisans region and explore the old mining trails of the Matheysine.
:: Thursday ::
Buëch → Baronnies
Today we catch the first glimpses of the Mont Ventoux - we’re getting really close!
We start the day crossing the savage national park of the Baronnies, riding along the ridgelines and through the rocky trails and ending in the olive tree landscape (and vigues, mjam!) of Buis-Les-Baronnies.
:: Friday ::
Mont Ventoux!
The final day: a full day of van shuttles on the mighty bold mountain, the Mont Ventoux!
Today we enjoy multiple shuttles taking us high up the Mont Ventoux. From the 2000m mountain we can only go in one direction: Down! On this ride we discover all aspects of the mountain on the finest single tracks. We can promise you will remember this day!

:: Tuesday ::
Matheysienne → Devoluy
On the menu for day three is the crossing of the Devoluy mountain range. This big mountain bowl is real hidden gem with top level bike trails. It may not be well-known yet, but it’s just a matter of time!
The trails are just fantastic: from spacious moon like fields to Southern forests, from slow tech to high speed flow… you can be sure it will be big day out with an overdose of singletracks.
:: Wednesday ::
Devoluy → Buëch
On this trail we observe the change from Alpine surroundings to the Southern soil. We say goodbye to the green Alpine mountains and welcome the vistas of Provence.
After a first high speed downhill, we take a break for a strong coffee on a characteristic Southern terrace under the plane-trees. The shuttle van collects us and drops us nearby at a picturesque canyon. We then travel to the river, ride some black earth trails and finally arrive at the lake for a well-deserved swim.
The route in this description is subjected to potentially changes. External factors, like weather conditions, can influence the exact itinery.
:: The ride ::
This point-to-point journey is made for all mountain bikers.
We climb at our own pace and are rewarded with long, endless single track descents. The trails can and will be technically challenging, but will never be extremely difficult.
A typical day has:
↑ ~1200m climbing
↓↓ >2200m descending
