The mountain range of Queyras is located just south of Briancon on the border with Italy,
and is a pure paradise of natural singletrack trails.
The region has a long history with ancient military forts on the disputed Franco-Italian border.
This has created an extensive network of trails:
wide 4x4 paths leading to the old military installations on the peaks
many panoramic single tracks connecting these barracks at altitude...
in short, perfect for mountain biking!
Imagine the full autumn colors of the yellow larch forests
and you literally ride through a gold mine of top trails.

During a week we guide you on the best trails in and around this mountain range.
We want to maximise your "ride time" and so we combine 2 base camps within the same week.
This way you explore every corner of the terrain without spending hours in a van ;)
With daily shuttle uplifts, our focus remains on the excitement:
an abundance of natural singletrack descents
in a stunning remote mountain range.
We will meet on Sunday morning at our first base camp near Briancon. After a short but informative briefing, we grab the bikes for the shakedown on the first trails. You came to ride, right?!?
Monday kicks off with the first all-mountain epic adventure. The shuttle bus will take us to a high point near one of the many abandoned forts. We will venture further into the mountains on beautiful balcony trails and be rewarded with long flowing descents. The pace picks up, the body loosens up. The trails keep coming, the fun factor is high... good times!

Perhaps one of the best trails in the area! We are dropped off at the Italian border at 2800m and then ... embark on an endless singletrack journey through Alpine plains, past mountain lakes to a rocky winding path at the valley floor. Pure bike bliss!
In the afternoon, we continue with discovering trail gold in the larch forests around Abries.
More top trails are on the agenda to conclude both this trip and the biking season. Today, we head towards col de fromage, chalet furfande, and the final endless descent towards Quillestre. Exhausted but content, we relax on a terrace and reflect on a great week of trails.

Today we limit the climbing and focus on riding descents. Our private driver will drop us off at the beginning of many specials. We ride lots of descents, always on natural singletracks, chasing our bike buddies towards the valley floor.
We pack up and move to the next spot. En route, we are immediately dropped off at the bizarre moonscape of Col du Izoard. We cruise at altitude for a while and then... a magical sequence of epic trails unfolds!

This holiday is aimed at allmountain-enduro bikers.
For bikers looking for natural trails with technical challenges. We use uplift services, but also climb on the bike to get those epic singletracks. You're ok with some hike-a-bike.
You will be guided by an experienced, qualified local mountain bike guide (English speaking) who chooses the exact trails according to your level, your preferences and the weather forecast.

LEVEL 2-3
This trips combines days
with more and less climbing.
We daily climb 500-1000m,
with an exception of +1200m UP.
During the week we descend 15000m,
this equals daily 2500-3500m DOWN.
